Iranian Hotel Review

Iran is a country in central Eurasia on the shores of the Persian Gulf. The official title for Iran is the Islamic Republic of Iran, however the country was internationally known as Persia until 1935. It is a large nation of over 70 million people with an area of 1,648,195 km squared. Iran has been in the news a lot recently due to the fact that its foreign relationships with some western nations - especially the United States of America - seem to be on shaky ground. Iran is a fascinating country with a rich Islamic based culture, although many other religions are represented there as well. While Iran may not be famous as a skiing destination, it is one of the most mountainous countries in the world. The climate of Iran differs quite a lot depending on where in the country you are. The climate can vary form arid and semiarid to tropical in some areas along the Caspian coast.  Iran is an amazing country to visit, there are spectacular landscapes and many beautiful destinations. The most intriguing thing for western travellers however, is the rich Iranian culture. Whether it be the Islamic religious rituals, the Iranian cuisine or the modern cinema and contemporary art that is popular in the country - all offer a fascinating view into the people who inhabit this country.
